Firefighters in Santa Barbara put out an electrical fire at the County Courthouse.

Crews were called out just after 5 pm after fire alarms started ringing. When they arrived, they saw smoke coming out of the building from three sides.

Crews say the Courthouse was mostly empty at the time, but the few remaining people inside were evacuated. Investigators say some electrical equipment caught fire in one of the rooms. No one was hurt.
