Firefighters have put out a vehicle fire on Highway 101.
Cal Fire crews say they were called out to the highway just north of Thompson Avenue at about 6:30 p.m.
When they arrived, they say the car was fully involved. Investigators say a fuel line failure in the car caused the fire. The driver was not hurt, but damage to the car is estimated at three thousand dollars.
One lane of the highway was temporarily shut down, while crews worked to put out the flames. Both lanes were reportedly back open just after 7:00 p.m.
