The Santa Barbara County Fire Department says about four acres of brush burned along southbound Highway 101 in Goleta Thursday night.
It started just after 8:00 pm at the Calle Mariposa Reina off-ramp
Officials say the fire was wind-driven, with winds blowing around 30 miles per hour.
The flames were bordered on one side by the highway and the other side by train tracks, so crews were able to quickly stop the forward progress of the fire.
