Firefighters rescue person from pickup truck that went over cliff

CAL FIRE says they were able to pull a person out of a white pickup truck Thursday after it drove 20 feet over a cliff in Paso Robles.

It happened around 3:10 p.m. Thursday at Union Road and Kit Fox Lane.

The California Highway Patrol initially reported the vehicle had driven about 80 to 100 feet over a cliff, but firefighters say the car fell 20 feet.

Firefighters were able to get the person out of the pickup truck. They carried the person to an ambulance. The California Highway Patrol says the person has minor injuries.
