The Santa Barbara County Fire Department says it has crews responding to a vegetation fire in northern Santa Barbara County, near an area where two highways intersect.
The fire was reported at 3:25p.m. off Highway 101 and Highway 154, near Zaca Station Road. That's in the Chamberlin Ranch area, according to a fire department spokesperson.
As of 3:45p.m., flames had charred around three acres of light brush, according to a crew flying over in a helicopter. A fire spokesperson says the fire has a moderate rate of spread.
