Firefighters save San Luis Obispo mobile home

A mobile home in San Luis Obispo was saved Tuesday thanks to some observant neighbors who noticed smoke bellowing from beneath the home. The fire broke out around 1:30 p.m. at the Chumash Village mobile home park off S. Higuera. Neighbors quickly called the fire department who put out the flames within minutes. The front of the home was damaged however the flames did not reach inside. The home owners were not there at the time but fire fighters were able to get their two dogs out safely.The owners were very appreciative The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
