First Annual Oyster Festival this weekend in Morro Bay

Seafood lovers may want to head to Morro Bay on Saturday for the 1st annual Central Coast Oyster Festival. It's Saturday from noon to 8pm. There will be a shucking contest at four, but you have to register by 2.

It all happens at the Morro Bay Golf Course overlooking the Oyster Farm and Morro Rock. Oysters will be the main cuisine but there will be other choices available, including local wines and beer by Tap-it Brewery. Tickets are $20 and benefit OPTIONS Family of Services.
