Fisherman cut by propeller of capsized boat in CA

MADERA, Calif. (AP) - A fisherman is hospitalized in Central California after a boat he was in capsized, sending him overboard where he sustained cuts from the propeller.
A spokeswoman from the Madera County Sheriff's Department says the accident happened Saturday in Eastman Lake.
Erica H. Stuart says the man was conscious when paramedics treated him the scene. He was airlifted to a nearby hospital where he was being treated for his injuries.
The cause of the accident was under investigation.
Eastman Lake is in the Sierra Nevada foothills, northeast of the Central Valley town of Chowchilla.
