Six Christian churches in the Five Cities area got together at Saint Patrick's Church for a Good Friday service Friday.
The inter-faith service started with a procession of the cross and continued with the annual community service.
Good Friday is the day Christians remember Jesus's death on the cross.
"We just wanted to share that with the community and a cross processional of people from six different traditions coming together under the cross is just a nice way to lift it up," said St. John's Lutheran Church pastor Randy Ouimette.
As always, the Easter weekend wraps up on Sunday, when Christian's believe Jesus rose from the dead.
