A new study finds just five percent of restroom users properly their hands.
After observing 3,000 people who used the bathroom, Michigan State University researchers found one out of ten did not wash their hands at all. Twenty percent didn't use soap, and only five percent washed their hands for fifteen seconds or more.
Men were worse than women. Men were more likely to skip the hand washing, and when they did wash their hands, only half used soap.
