Scotty Cusack is the season's first two-time Friday Night Highlights Player of the Week winner. The St. Joseph High senior compiled 240 total yards of offense and scored 5 touchdowns in the Knights' 49-16 win at Pioneer Valley. The victory clinched the program's first-ever piece of a Pac 7 League title and completed a worst to first comeback from a season ago.
Cusack rushed for 88 yards on 5 carries and scored 2 rushing TDs. He also caught 6 passes for 152 yards and 3 more TDs.
Three of his touchdowns went for 46 yards or longer.
Templeton quarterback Alex Elterman, Arroyo Grande quarterback Matt Willkomm, SLO High senior Garrett Giovannelli and Lompoc's Nikko Hayes were this week's other finalists.

Week 8 - Grant Alton, Arroyo Grande - 17 Tackles, 2 interceptions and 2 sacks, plus 1 catch on offense
Week 9 - Scotty Cusack, St. Joseph - 240 total yards of offense and 5 Tds in St. Joseph's 49-16 win over Pioneer Valley to clinch share of Pac 7 League title
