Flooding closes part of Hwy. 1 in Oceano

The California Highway Patrol is reporting that parts of Hwy. 1 through Oceano are closed due to flooding.
A spokesperson says that the northbound lane is closed at Railroad, and is diverting to 13th Street. The southbound lane is being diverted to Pershing Drive. Officials say they do not have an estimated time as to when that portion of the highway will reopen, and for now, as long as it keeps raining, there will continue to be a detour.
