The wet weather is causing problems for some local drivers.

The heavy rain flooded the intersection of Highway 1 and 13th Street in Oceano Thursday night.

Several cars braved the 3-foot deep water but others were more cautious.

One driver was not so lucky, his car got stuck and had to be towed.

"I went through the first time, I made it through, but coming back my car got stuck," said Arroyo Grande Resident Mikie Redstone. "I ended up hydro locking my engine, which I sucked all water through my intake and my car won't even turn over."

The intersection is still open but drivers should be extra careful when approaching the area.
