Lompoc High's Lavon Coleman has earned his second Friday Night Highlights Player of the Week Award of the season. The junior running back scored the first four touchdowns in Lompoc's 42-7 win over crosstown rival Cabrillo.
The win gave the Braves their second-straight outright Los Padres League title and extended their winning streak to 16 games. The Braves finished the regular season 10-0 overall and 6-0 in league.
Coleman rushed for 176 yards on 22 carries and scored 3 touchdowns in the win. He also returned a punt 70 yards for a touchdown in the first half. The junior finished the regular season the LPL leader in rushing yards (1,360), rushing yards per game (151) and touchdowns (18).
