For his outstanding performances on both sides of the ball last week, Arroyo Grande High's Seth Jacobs becomes the ninth Friday Night Highlights Player of the Week award winner.
The senior linebacker recorded 14 tackles in the Eagles' 35-17 come from behind win over Paso Robles. He also scored the go-ahead and game-clinching touchdowns in the fourth quarter. Jacobs rushed for 121 yards and 2 touchdowns on 8 carries in the victory that helped the Eagles clinch a share of their first PAC-7 League title since 2004.
Arroyo Grande extended its winning streak to 8 games. Jacobs now has 98 total tackles on the season.
For winning, Jacobs, who has collected offers from more than one dozen high profile college football programs, receives a gift card from our player of the week sponsor Subway.
