Arroyo Grande High quarterback Brent VanderVeen has been named the latest Friday Night Highlights Player of the Week.
The senior set a career-high with 381 passing yards for 3 touchdowns in the Eagles' 35-14 win over Pioneer Valley. The Eagles extended their winning streak to 6 games. They are now 3-0 in PAC-7 League play and in first place, 6-1 overall.
The Oregon State recruit also rushed for 23 yards, accounting for 404 yards of total offense.
