SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - New to the Pac-5 and returning 11 starters Arroyo Grande is number 5 on the FNH top ten. The Eagles finished in a tie for second place in the Pac-7 last year with an overall record of 8-4. Arroyo Grande returns their running back Jordan Harrigan, but does not return their quarterback or top receiver.
"I have loved the way we have been practicing this year." Head coach Tom Goossen said. "In high school you are always filling holes and that's the beauty of it.
The Eagles do have some bright spots on the offensive end, fullback Joey De LaRosa and wide receiver Bradley Mickey, both of whom are juniors.
Game 1 of their season will be at Lompoc on the 29.
