Former CA firefighter gets prison on sex charges

RIVERSIDE, Calif. (AP) - A former Chula Vista firefighter has been sentenced to 16 years in prison for rape, taking nude pictures of his sedated fiancée and other sex charges.
57-year-old William Robert Bolduc was sentenced Friday after being convicted in September.
Authorities said Bolduc took dozens of nude cellphone pictures of his then fiancée in 2009 as she slipped in and out of consciousness after being sedated for oral surgery.
After his arrest, allegations emerged that he molested two small children while they were in his care. During trial, two relatives testified that Bolduc molested them decades ago.
Bolduc was acquitted of the molestation charges involving one of the children.
Defense attorney Christopher Whelton said Friday that Bolduc continued to maintain his innocence.
