A former Cal Poly assistant football coach was sentenced to 120 days in jail and felony probation for hitting another person on the head with a beer bottle in August of 2012.
Randy Hanson was found guilty of assault and battery, but not guilty of assault with a deadly weapon.
Hanson resigned from his coaching job shortly after the incident.
