Former Cal Poly All-American Ramses Barden continued his solid play for the New York Giants in their final preseason game against the New England Patriots on Wednesday night.
The third year wide receiver hauled in a team-high 4 catches for 31 yards in the Giants' 6-3 win. Lawrence Tynes kicked a 32 yard field goal with 1:03 to play in a preseason rematch of the two teams that played in the Super Bowl in early February.
The 6-6 Barden's longest catch was a 15 yard gain late in the first half.
The former Mustang was coming off a big game against the Chicago Bears last Friday when he caught his first NFL touchdown. The 11 yard TD reception was Barden's first since his final game at Cal Poly in 2008.
Barden has 15 catches in 17 career NFL regular season games.
The Super Bowl champion Giants kick off the NFL season next Wednesday at home against Dallas. The game airs on KSBY at 5:30 pm.
