The former supervisor of the Santa Barbara Police Department's business office is headed to prison for embezzlement and tax evasion.
The Santa Barbara County District Attorney's Office says Karen Flores will spend ten years in prison.
She was charged with embezzling more than $600,000 from the police department's parking citation system.
She has to pay restitution to the City of Santa Barbara and the CA Franchise Tax Board, as well as a fine.
