The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department arrested four people Friday after serving a search warrant at a home in Carpinteria.
Patrol deputies obtained a warrant for their on-going marijuana growing investigation. Inside the home, detectives say they found approximately 88 growing marijuana plants, growing operations in three locations on the property, a small amount of meth, packaged and processed marijuana, and evidence of sales of marijuana.
Police arrested 52-year-old Brain Lopez Sr. for possession for sales of marijuana, cultivation of marijuana, being under the influence of a controlled substance, and possession of meth. They also arrested 27-year-old Amber Iverson and 49-year-old Irene Hernandez for possession of meth and being under the influence of a controlled substance. Finally, police arrested 37-year-old Patrick Bollinger for being under the influence of a controlled substance.
Authorities say the investigation is ongoing.
