Authorities arrest four Central Coast residents in connection with a heroin sales investigation.
Investigators from multiple agencies say they served drug search warrants at three locations in the Five Cities area Thursday morning. One of the locations was in Oceano, but the exact address is not being released. The two other locations were in the 200 blocks of S. 10th and 11th Streets in Grover Beach.
Investigators say those searches stemmed from a three-month-long investigation into heroin sales in both Grover Beach and Oceano. Four people were arrested in connection with Thursday's searches. Officers took 31-year-old Rod Cooper, 44-year-old Mark Lepley and 45-year-old Allen Sell into custody on various drug charges. 58-year-old John Lowerison was also arrested for violating parole.
Authorities say this case remains open and they are expecting more arrests.
