A family of four, including a six-month-old baby and a dog, had to be rescued Sunday morning after their sailboat broke free of its mooring in Santa Barbara.
The Coast Guard and Santa Barbara Harbor Patrol used a helicopter to lower a rescue swimmer onto the boat, and a motor lifeboat helped bring the family to shore.

No one was hurt.
The Coast Guard says weather conditions at the time were wind gusts of 30-40 knots, with sea swells between 6-8 feet.
