Frost and Freeze warnings posted for some valleys

We have been expecting some cold overnight lows following our last storm, and now that those lows are developing several advisories are needed:

A freeze warning is in place for the Cuyama valley overnight and early tomorrow for lows which will drop into the mid to upper 20s for several hours. This will cause damage to unprotected, temperature sensitive vegetation. Additional care is suggested for those who keep pets outside overnight.

A frost advisory has been posted for the Santa Ynez valley for temperatures which will drop under 32 for several hours. Some vegetation can be damaged under such conditions.

Elsewhere the coast will be near freezing but likely not long enough to do damage to plants, he interior of SLO county will also drop into the mid 20s but since several hard freezes have happened already no advisory is posted, however precautions are advised for those with sensitive plants or animals with exposure to the cold conditions overnight.
