People will gather in Arroyo Grande tonight to try and keep the Children in Motion program alive.
The Arroyo Grande Lions Club is hosting the event from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Women's Center at 211 Vernon Street.
A marketing and fundraising campaign for the program is underway. Supporters hope to raise enough money to cut the $50,000-$55,000 subsidy the city pays from its general fund to run the program.
