The Galaxy Theater in Atascadero gave some locals a VIP sneak peek Saturday before its grand opening later this month.
It is also hosting several events for the San Luis Obispo International Film Festival, which kicks off March 9.
The theater includes both stadium seating and D-box seats, which actually move along with the movie you are watching.
"I am stunned and in awe, I mean I just think it's such an exciting thing to have in our county," said Wendy Eidson, the SLOIFF director. "It's 10 screens, state of the art, the equipment is amazing."
The Galaxy Theater will holds its grand opening on March 18. Coke and popcorn will be just $1 each through opening weekend.
