Gang sweep leads to seven arrests

A crackdown on gang members leads to the arrests of seven people including a juvenile in Santa Barbara.

The Santa Barbara Police Department did some proactive gang sweeps Wednesday morning.

Five teams of officers and detectives went to 19 different locations throughout the city and arrested known gang members.

Three of the men were also arrested for robbery.

Santa Barbara Police say the robbery charges stem from an incident back in August.
