It may be a slow decline, but the price at the gas pump is finally on the way down.
The national average has fallen for ten straight days.
In San Luis Obispo County AAA reports the current average is $4.65; that's down ten cents from last week.
SLO County saw the highest national average price on October 9, when people paid an average of $4.75 for a gallon of regular.
In Santa Barbara County the average is $4.58; that's also down nearly ten cents.
California drivers are still paying almost a dollar more per gallon than the rest of the nation.
Analysts predict a five cent to 15 cent per week drop for the next three weeks.
