Gilbert leads Pirates into title game in Napa

The Morro Bay High girls basketball team will play Grass Valley for the championship of the Napa Tournament on Saturday. The Pirates punched their ticket to the title game with a 54-31 win over Davis on Friday night.

Hannah Gilbert, who scored 25 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and had 6 blocked shots in the opening win over Napa, continued her solid play with 17 points and 10 boards. Sierra Schwellenbach poured in 16 points the day after scoring 18 points.

Jerrica Crosby added 9 points and 9 rebounds for the now 6-2 Pirates.
