The Paso Robles Police Department invites the community to give the gift of life, and you'll get a sweet treat in return!
The department is teaming up with the Tri-Counties Blood Bank on March 27th for a blood drive. The bank says blood transfusions help save the lives of accident and surgery patients and patients with diseases.
The Tri-Counties Blood Bank bus will be located at the Paso Robles Downtown City Park on March 27th from 9:00a.m. To 1:00p.m. to accept donations. Blood donors must be at least 17-years-old, weight at least 110 lbs. and be in good health the day of the donation. Just bring a donor card, driver's license, passport, social security card, birth certificate or other suitable photo ID.
Donors get another special treat for their gift. Cold Stone Creamery is donating a pint of ice cream for your pint blood donation.
Appointments are not necessary, but if you'd like to schedule one just call 237-4086.
