Giving the gift of warmth

As the temperatures begin to drop, more homeless men and women of the Central Coast need the gift of warmth.

That's where the 10th annual Recycle the Warmth drive comes in. Organizers are looking for donations of new or used blankets, sleeping bags, jackets and gloves.

If you have any last minute donations, they can be taken to the Maxine Lewis Homeless Shelter on Orcutt Rd. in San Luis Obispo on Wednesday morning.
