General Motors is recalling 1.3 million cars because of a power steering problem.
The models involved with the recall include the 2005-2010 Chevrolet Cobalt and the 2007-2010 Pontiac G5. The automaker says the cars are safe to drive, but that they may become harder to steer when traveling under 15mph.
GM is developing a fix for the problem and will notify owners when to bring their cars to a dealer to have their power steering motor repaired.
The 2005-2006 Pontiac Pursuits, which were sold in Canada, and the 2005-2006 Pontiac G4, which were sold in Meixco, are also included in the recall.
