SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - A leg injury has Cal Poly sophomore Dano Graves questionable for the Mustangs game at UC Davis on Saturday.
Graves, who was inserted as the team's starter after injuries to both Vince Moraga and Chris Brown, is battling an asortment of ailments. The Folsom, California native injured an ankle in Cal Poly's regular season opener against San Diego.
The Air Force transfer has yet to practice this week, but has given a spark to the Mustangs triple option offense despite playing at less than 100 percent. Graves is completing nearly 63 percent of his passes to go with three touchdowns during his stint as starter.
Head coach Tim Walsh will make a final determination on Graves' status on Thursday. Fellow sophomore Chris Brown will likely start for the Mustangs if Graves is deemed unavailable.
