People gathered in San Luis Obispo Sunday afternoon to celebrate all things Greek.

They packed Mission Plaza for the fourth annual Greek Festival. There was authentic food made from scratch, as well as live music and dancing. If you were interested in learning they even had dance lessons.

The rainy weather did affect the turnout but organizers did not let that spoil the fun.

"You'll notice the rain didn't keep us down," said Paul Georghiou, who helped coordinate the event. "We said, 'what would the Spartans do?' they wouldn't let a little rain stop them."

The weather did finally clear up a bit so more friends and family members took part in the festivities later in the day.
