Greyhounds, Bearcats to put football rivalry aside to raise money for schools

Atascadero and Paso Robles High will put their fierce rivalry to the side next month to benefit one another. Food 4 Less will hold its fifth annual Greyhound/Bearcat BBQ fundraiser on Saturday, October 27 at the store in Paso Robles.
A pep rally that includes cheerleaders, players, coaches and bands from both Paso Robles and Atascadero High Schools starts at 12pm. Food will be served from 12:30 - 4pm.
The meal consists of 1/2 chicken, salad, roll, drink and dessert for only $10.
1500 Tickets are being sold by each school with all the profits going to the athletic departments of each respective schools. The fundraiser raises thousands of dollars each year.
