A Grover Beach man was arrested early Thursday morning after police say he burglarized a home and beat up two people inside.
Grover Beach Police say they responded to a reported burglary around 4:11 a.m. in the 600 block of Rockaway Avenue.
According to police, the man and woman inside said a man, later identified as Michael Lewis Davis, Jr., 27, entered their home and started stealing items.
When the man and woman confronted Davis, police say he beat the two up before running away with items from the home.
Police tell KSBY News the victims knew the suspected burglar, who they identified as Davis.
Officers found him in the 100 block of North 4th Street.
Police say during Davis' arrest, they found evidence related to the crime.
Davis was booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail for one count each of burglary and robbery. Bond is set at $60,000.
