Guadalupe Dunes Beach open every day

The Guadalupe Dunes Beach Park is now open seven days a week.
Starting Monday, it is no longer closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Guadalupe's mayor, Lupe Alvarez, said recently he hopes expanding the hours will make it easier to convince voters to change the name of the city from Guadalupe to Guadalupe Beach when the proposal appears on the November ballot.
The Mayor thinks the name change would help make the city more tourist friendly.
