Guadalupe residents who were evacuated from their homes right before the holidays are still getting their lives back together, and now they're preparing for this upcoming rain.

Heavy rains flooded people out of their homes on Pioneer Street in December. Some have put out sandbags to prepare for more rain. With more storms on the horizon, we asked the fire chief if he's worried about the potential for more flooding.

"I'm not too concerned about that amount of rain because it's going to come over a four or five day period. It's not like the last rainstorm we had in December where it rained all day, everyday," said Guadalupe Fire Chief Jack Owens.

The city of Guadalupe is still under a local emergency from December's storms.
