Hancock's Artis-Payne named Conference Player of the Week again

For the fourth time this season, Allan Hancock College running back Cameron Artis-Payne was named the Northern Conference Offensive Player of the Week by the Southern California Football Association.

The sophomore rushed for 351 yards and 4 touchdowns in Hancock's 49-42 win at Pasadena on Saturday. Artis-Payne racked up 266 by halftime and ran for scores of 52, 1, 63 and 1 yards.

He set a Robinson Stadium record for most rushing yards in a single game.

Artis-Payne also won the award after Weeks 2, 4 and 6.

In seven games this season, Artis-Payne leads the state with 1,467 rushing yards, 209.6 yards per game, 8.8 yards per carry and 18 rushing touchdowns.
