SANTA YNEZ, Calif.- One of the Central Coast's top dual sport athletes will play football and wrestle at Santa Barbara City College this fall.
The Santa Ynez star, Clayton Hanly, will compete for the Vaqueros after an illustrious career in both sports he participated in.
Hanly was the Los Padres league defensive lineman of the year this past season and led the Central Coast with 15 and a half sacks.
On the mat Hanly was just as dominant and was nearly unbeaten during his entire Pirate wrestling career.
"I'm extremely competitive and football and wrestling and all of that keeps me on the right track," said Hanly, "it's just something that I've grown up doing and I don't want to stop yet."
Hanly will also be a part of the Northern Santa Barbara County team at the FCA All-Star Classic which will kick off Saturday, June 7th.
