Hasay finishes 4th at National Indoor Championship

Mission Prep graduate Jordan Hasay finished fourth in the 5,000 meter run at the NCAA Indoor Championships at the University of Arkansas. In her senior year at the University of Oregon, Hasay finished in 15:40.30. 12 seconds behind the winner, Abbey D'Agostino, a junior from Dartmouth. Hasay was 2.30 seconds behind the third place runner.

In 2011, Hasay won the mile and the 3,000 meter at the NCAA Indoor Championship. Last year she finished third in the mile and fourth in the 3,000. The Arroyo Grande native has helped the University of Oregon women to three straight national indoor team titles.

Hasay will run in the 3,000 meter final on Saturday at 5:40pm Pacific time.
