Hasay finishes runner-up, leads Ducks to first Conference title since '95

Mission Prep graduate Jordan Hasay finished second at the Pac 12 Conference Cross Country Championships at the Robinson Ranch Golf Course in Santa Clarita on Saturday morning. The University of Oregon senior led the Ducks to their first conference title since 1995.

Hasay finished the 6K course in 20:10. Stanford's Kathy Kroeger had enough left in the tank at the end to outkick Hasay by four seconds.

Behind Hasay's effort and a 4th and 5th place finish from two of her teammates, the Oregon women captured their eighth title in program history. The Ducks had 47 points. Arizona finished second with 69 and Stanford came in third with 82 points.

Fellow Mission Prep graduate Annie Mooney, a sophomore for UCLA, finished 32nd out of 106 women with a time of 21:17.

The meet featured four teams ranked in the top ten in the national poll and six in the top 25 with #3 Oregon, #4 Stanford, #5 Arizona, #6 Washington, defending conference champion #21 Colorado and #24 UCLA.

Hasay finished third as a junior at the 2011 Pac 12 Championships. She went on to win the NCAA West Regional and finish runner-up at the NCAA Division I Championships.
