Having a baby comes with a big price tag

Middle-income families with babies born in 2011 can expect to spend nearly $235,000 to raise their child over the next 17 years, and that does not include the cost of college.
That's a 3.5% increase from 2010.
Those numbers are from an annual report from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
