A Hazardous Materials team is on scene of a incident in Pismo Beach.

Cal Fire says a 55 gallon barrel of an unknown substance leaked onto Frady Rd., near S. Dolliver in Pismo Beach at about 8:30a.m. Tuesday.

A HazMat team has been called out to the incident. A crew of about 10 to 15 is on the scene and taking samples of the unknown substance to determine whether it is a risk to the public.

The Pismo Beach Police Department has blocked off access to Frady Rd. as a precaution.

KSBY News has a crew on the way, we'll bring you the latest details as they become available.
