Local health officials are warning folks to stay out of some local waters. The San Luis Obispo County Department of Environmental Health has issued a health advisory for Avila Beach...north and south of the pier and Pismo Beach, immediately south of the pier.
Water tests showed high bacteria levels in both those areas. The increased levels are most likely due to the recent rains.
For now officials say people should not get in the water, until tests show the water is safe again.
