As high pressure builds, the Central Coast will see temperatures jump up, Sunday. Offshore winds will push out the marine layer, giving us lots of sunshine and driving up the thermometer, as well.
Beaches will start the day with clear skies, with highs reaching the mid to upper 70's... it's possible to see some 80 degree highs, too. Coastal valleys can expect lots of sunshine, reaching temperatures in the upper 80's to upper 90's.
Interior valleys will be impressively warm... reaching triple digits in most locations, with highs topping out around 100-102.
This heat wave will last until Tuesday, with Monday being the warmest day.
Stay cool and hydrated!
