The California Highway Patrol is reminding Central Coast residents to expect about double the normal amount of traffic on local roadways Tuesday, because of the closure of Interstate 5 at the Grapevine. Officers say to expect most of that traffic on Highway 101 and Highway 46.

Another road closure to know about is on State Route 33 at Fairview in Ojai to its intersection at Highway 166 in Bakersfield. That roadway is only open to residents living in the area. Also, The CHP is escorting traffic over State Route 58 between Bakersfield and Mojave.

The CHP says it's unclear when those roads will be reopened.

Remember to tune into KSBY News from 5:00 - 7:00a.m. for a traffic report every ten minutes, for Weather & Traffic on the 6's.
