A fundraiser is being held on Monday for the victims of the devastating earthquake in Haiti. The event is taking place at the Arroyo Grande Community Hospital between 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. It's a Barbecue-Style lunch. They will be serving delicious BBQ ribs, corn on the cob, coleslaw, chili beans and garlic bread. A $7 cash donation is being requested. Larger donations will also be accepted.
One hundred percent of the donations will go to the Catholic Medical Mission Board. It's an organization of volunteers who have been serving the needs of Haiti since 1912. CMMB is already immersed in the country and its staff is working with Haitians' medical needs after the quake.
