High clouds, slightly cooler temps, and chance for spotty showers

Monsoonal moisture and weak upper level disturbances will bring a 20% chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms through Monday for the Central Coast. It will continue through Tuesday for the mountain and desert regions of central and southern California. A slight warm up is expected for the end of the week due to high pressure building to the east and expanding westward. A moderate southerly swell will bring an increased risk for dangerous rip currents this week.
